What RAID controller?

Looking at running a RAID6 array with 8x2Tb drives. Any particular RAID controllers that people would recommend? The 3Ware/LSI 9650SE-8LPML is top of the list at the moment. Won't be running hot spares but may want to expand to 16 drives in the future, but could always do that with an additional controller.

I'm running an Areca 1880i (4 port) with HP SAS Expander (36 ports). Worked out a lot cheaper for me than going for a controller with more ports or multiple controllers.

What drives are you planning to use, it's worth checking what other users have experienced with your proposed card & drive setup (especially if the drives are not on the HCL for your controller).
