What retro things have you done today?

Got mine yesterday, bit disappointed to be honest, the system feels a bit laggy generally and had some slow down in a few titles.

The major issue is the gamepad, feels small, very light, just cheap overall. Not enjoyable to use.

If it was 50 to 60 quid I'd probably keep it but for £105 that's too much for something I'll hardly ever use so think it'll be going back to Amazon.

The controller is the same size as the original 6 button controller if I remember correctly? Which was also small.

I have the original mini so Im using the controller from that.

Looks fantastic.
I had a similar system so decided to recreate it in PCem. Not quite the same but it works really well and certainly is the most stable and plays games without needing needing patches or anything.

CPU - Pentium MMX233
Motherboard - Intel i430VX
RAM - 64MB RAM
VGA - S3 Virge DX
3D - 3DFX Voodoo 1 4MB
Soundcard - AWE32 28MB
OS - Win 95 OSR2.5

The DB50XG is definately the icing on the cake

Thanks for the comments guys, I was quite lucky and managed to get the motherboard NOS and the case was brand new as well which helps with the clean appearance.

Guest 2 - I've never come across PCem, how does it compare to real hardware especially the 3dfx card and the AWE32?
