Let me tell you about my niece
She agrees to buy this push chair/trike thing from FB… and I do feel sorry for the bloke who is selling it.. lol
Firstly she tells him that her dad, my brother was coming to collect it. My brother doesn’t like going anywhere by himself and wanted me to go along with him but after an afternoon of looking at cars for my other brother, I had enough and just wanted to go home. So that was one miss collection…
Roll on Tuesday… she wanted me to collect it as it was nearer to me than anyone else, so I said yes… I could make it part of the way home from work, but I have you (her) paid for it? As I don’t have any cash on me nor cash card with me… obviously the seller wouldn’t accept a bank transfer, so I had to ask the few people I knew if anyone had cash on them, so I could do a transfer to their account and have their cash… it was a big fact no… she was like.. “why don’t anyone at your place have cash!?” we work on a secure cashless site in the middle of nowhere, no one carries something that they don’t need! So that was another miss collection.
Roll on Thursday, I said to her I can collect it after I gone to the gym… well she wouldn’t get off the phone with me all morning telling me how I should check the item for faults, delaying my gym time so she kept messaging the poor seller telling him that I would be late.
Come today, I discovered that her hubby is off today.. I was like, you could have sent him today!! Rather than bug everyone else.. “oh no, he’s looking after the kids so I can get some alone time”… “well he could look after the kids and you could have your alone time in the car to pickup your darn shopping!”
Not everyone is a con artist.. some people are just irately disorganised!!
And this pram/trike thing she’s purchased has more moving parts that a triple changer transformer. weighs an ton, so no kid that could fit in it would be able to muster the strength to pedal it… no wonder it’s new, yet it’s all the range with the yuppy mummies.
