Wow, surprised to see so many people against personalised plates here
About 4 or 5 of my customers on seeing my 'new' car a couple of months back were really pushy on how much I should get a personalised plate on it. On a good looking car, it does help imho, and that's why about 4 in every 5 range rovers I see have one, and a load of s-classes and various other higher-end cars. I know quite a few people with decent cars and personalised plates and no, they're not prats. It's another little extra for a car and the 'ageless' touch is a nice option.
I'm looking at getting a half-decent plate for mine, something in Northern Ireland style and with a good number on it - in the last few weeks I've seen, for example, NCZ 500, WIA 750, MKZ 25 and the likes - but they're ridiculous money. It's actually cheaper going with something name-related but I'm not too fussed on that.
