What size screen do you use for gaming?

27" 1440p Hazro. Love it except for dark creepy games with lots of black as it doesn't do blacks as well as my old Samsung 226BW.

21.5" 1920x1080

It was a bit weird at first, seemed a bit "squashed" and not tall enough...but I like it now.

I prefer 16:9 for movies, the monitor looks like a cinema screen and great to have no black borders.

Had a 24" Samsung 1920x1200 before which looked massive.

Samsung 2232bw (with samsung panel)- 22". I love 16:10 so I expect this monitor will last me for quite some time. Not perfect for movies, but love it for games and everything else:)
Pants for photography though - its biggest problem really.

69" 3x 23" Samsung S23A700D's

I mainly use 1 monitor for general gaming but Eyefinity is awesome for some racing games!

Great, this thread has got me looking at monitors and I shouldn't be splashing out.

Quite fancy seeing what LED monitors are like, hmm that might be a sufficient reason to upgrade.

Dell 3007WFP-HC - 30" 2560x1600 goodness :).

Did also have two 2001FPs in portrait for the odd game too - 20" 1200x1600 either side of the 3007WFP.

Was that back in the old days before wista/win7, when soanning mode was supported?

I use 3x24" Dell u2412M (1920x1200, though gaming at 6048x1200).
If eyefinitry supported uneuqal resultions, I'd seriously consider replacing the centre screen with a 30" 2560x1200, and putting the side monitors in portrait. I do wonder though if I'd lose some peripheral vision there - current monitors do fill my field of vision while Im gaming.

Depends on the game really.

For any game that is best played with the Xbox 360 controller (Racing,GTA4,Street Fighter, etc) I prefer my 46" Samsung TV at 1920x1080. It looks much more stunning and immersive than my 22" monitor, and lying on the sofa is so relaxing.

For high accuracy mouse+keyboard games (CS:S, CoD, L4D etc) I sit at my desk with my Samsung 22" 1680x1050 monitor.
