Oh well you really don't need to download iso since you already have Windows 7 DVD, all you have to do is create ISO image of your Windows 7 DVD.

It's worth using the SP1 iso though, save installing SP1 afterwards..

Yeah he would had SP1 and all updates slipstreamed into Windows 7 ISO like I did with RT 7 Lite tool saved installed SP1 and all updates afterward years ago.

USBs are so cheap now you can get 32GB ones for less than a tenner IIRC

Yeah 32GB USB sticks now cost less than £10, I bought Sandisk Cruz 32GB USB stick for £28 2 years ago.
