Engaged for 8 years now, been seeing each other for 9 today! \o/
Both live and work together, we treat each other as equals but I have the final word on things.
We don't have real arguments often, maybe one every few months, we constantly argue on a day to day basis but in a good way - always trying to out do the other with "witty" and childish remarks and running around the place trying to catch each other.
We have to keep ourselves amused somehow, we don't see real other people for weeks sometimes as we work all day every day!!
100% happy, couldn't imagine not being with her and I know it's the same for her too.

Same girlfriend for 12 years. We would marry but then we would have to go through threat of divorce at least twice a month. So we don't. This way we can have all the args and all the make up sex without paying for lawyers...
