Poll: What speed connection do you use?

Any chance of a poll (said the actress to the bishop)?

I’m just curious about what sort of connection everyone has these days. I thought I’d get a more accurate result from posting here, as everybody in the hardware forums are probably enthusiasts with uber connections.

Dial Up
1MB or less
Between 1 – 2MB
Between 2 – 4MB
Between 4 – 8MB
Faster than 8 (please state)

I’d also be interested in how much bandwidth people use. I’m on a 1MB, and use about 5-8GB per month. I just browse, not a huge downloader.

10mbps cable from Blueyonder, usage between all of us probably 100 - 200gb per month.

This should be in Internet, Networks & Connectivity or whatever it's called mate.

Home i have NTL 10mb

As a guide when i had 2mb adsl i used to do about 30-40gb a month and since i moved to NTL i haven't really incresed that.

The prices worked out cheaper than the ADSL package, thats why i swapped
Id probably be better off downgrading to 4mb but i cba, i do like dloading at 1.2mb a sec now and then makes me feel special.

No issues with it on Xbox live apart from the server drops although this could be lives issue rather than my connection.
