I'm on Thundernews unlimited paying £15 a month. Also paid for an nzbs site for unlimited usenet searches. Can't link to that obviously though.

I have no idea why I'm paying for crappy Virgin TV.

Ohh and the only thing letting me down is my broadband usage caps.

If the quality of service from the 'genuine' distribution service aka VirginMedia was as good as the service from those who I am paying, i'd gladly pay for that instead.

Unfortunatley, the service is crap so i'll go for a better, cheaper alternative :)

VM are nearly at that point where they could totally defeat the internet for acquiring TV shows. Their on demand service is very very impressive, they just need more programs. They have a lot but not enough. I've watched Top Gear, Father Ted and other stuff many times but they aren't providing all the episodes from every series. Well, Father Ted they have but that's not a very big program.

I want to see every Top Gear, every Prison Break, every Lost, every 24, every Sopranos etc.

Quick downloads of high quality content minutes after it's been released on torrents. One guy torrents, uploads to rapidshare and I can grab whatever it may be and max out my connection.

I'd more than likely go to rapidshare for large files such as Linux iso's, patches etc because it'll max out my connection, meaning I'm not downloading for extended periods on a shared connection :)
 
rapidshare is great for finding harder to find stuff. no not necessarily porn but loads of other stuff too.

e.g. I cant find some of the older psy-trance cds anywhere on the net to buy, look on a site with rapidshare links and there's loads
 
Try looking for Megaupload links instead :)
More people are moving away from RS in favour of MU, and even on free usage I can get at least 10gb a day off them!
Also, have a look at JDownloader; I just feed links into it and leave it running on the server overnight- It'll download everything sequentially as a free user, & will do most hosters, even those with captchas etc.
