What the hell is with Virgin1 and Deep Space Nine?

Can somebody explain to me why in the name of the Goddess would Virgin1 switch from showing Deep Space Nine right up until the point it was getting real good (In The Line of Fire - the episode the Cardassians and the Dominion take back Deep Space Nine) and then start showing Star Trek:TNG from the start? I mean how bad is Encounter at Farpoint? How bad are their suits? I only want to see tight lycra on hot female cyclists!

Grrr. I wish I had the money to buy the DS9 DVD's. Scratch tht as if I had money for that I'd buy the B5 Box Set.

Anyway, thanks you Virgin1 for the worlds most ****ed up programming.

Aye the ****'in ****'s. I watched it 7-8 years ago from start to finish and was one of my all time favortie shows. I was really enjoying it, oh well, TNG ain't soo bad :/
 
I'm not a big fan of Startrek by any means. But the best TNG episodes were the ones with Q in. He really brought something interesting to them.

DS9 was always way better though. Lost track of what was going on with the cardassians and wormhole people though, and always got really annoyed when a fleet of a few ships could do so much damage to a battle station built by the war race Cardassia. It should have been able to stand up to an armada!
 
Yeah they seem to have moved DS9 to 2pm and restarted the series right from the beginning again. Don't know what they're playing at.

TNG is good but you need to be later in the programs life (just like DS9 and Voyager)

I think on average, TNG is better than DS9. But the very best DS9 episodes are amazing ("In the Pale Moonlight"), and the very worst utterly horrible.
