hey
This is a quick story about what happened to me today.
Had a phone dropped off for a screen repair, iPhone 4s.
Chap says his mate attempted a fix but the touch screen doesn't work, so i thought that its a simple connector issue.
Turns out the chap broke the connector on the board, I cant fathom how that happens as its so simple i could do it with my eyes closed.
What makes me laugh is that the chap who attempted the repair has ripped the ribbon cable, then to try and cover up his mistake has sandwiched the ends together and super glued them between two bits of card, then wrapped it in black tape. Then denied all knowledge.
It just makes me Laugh that someone could be so stupid and then try to hide it, and makes me rage when people who SHOULDN'T be anywhere close to technology think they can repair something as delicate as an iPhone
Just another day in the land of Phone repairs
