What time do 9070 sales go live?

Well they cant blame low stock levels this time, so that eliminates the regularly trotted out "supply and demand" excuse for over the top pricing.

Of course, it wouldn't be a gpu launch without the random price premium slapped on. "We have plenty of stock this time and have had it from January, so we had to clean dust off the boxes, so £50 extra for that service thank ye very much".

They are just anticipating the FOMO buzz.

I'm going to take a step back and wait for the potential silliness to calm down and pick one up in a couple of months.

I'm not bothering until i see if the next Battlefield game is gonna be worth a crap or not, this vega 64 runs the old cod games nicely. :D
 
Just remember that AMD are quick to drop prices, they also need gaming sales unlike Nvidia.

Half the reason to get one is to not pay Nvidia’s rip off pricing so it defeats the object if you end up being ripped off on AMD.

Maybe, but I think it's unlikely they will drop the 9070xt price anytime soon.

Depends if people buy them at inflated prices and continue to do so.

AMD need to win market share and they won’t do that if prices are unrealistic vs MSRP as people will wait for the 5070ti to hit MSRP.
 
I just really hope AMD can get close to the 40 series in ray/path tracing my 7900xt is useless at it.
 
Was hoping to pick one of these up at launch after the Nvidia debacle but seeing that there's still price gouging going on I think I'll just pass and wait until HL3 or something.
