I am sad to see I was right in post #25. Manchester and London on the cards next The situation needs the troops bringing in, they're already burning buildings.

I have less than zero faith in the front line police being willing or allowed to do the necessary. The proper Chief Constables, like Manchester's James Anderton were efectively castrated years ago.

I remember the Oldham riots and the police failed to contain those riots early on which allowed it to spread to other parts of Oldham and there was a night of rioting.
