What to do....mum having an affair

You've got the first step right, grabbing your PC and posting about it on a public forum. :p :D

My gran called my sister earlier has said that she discovered my mum was having an affair and confrontered her, my mum apparantly was furious that my gran had found out and walked out.
This would worry me. Is your mum actually not talking to your grandma because she found out, or because she accused your mum of something she's not doing and your grandma wouldn't believe her? You want to be sure it's not the latter before you go saying anything to her.

if your mum is having an affair and you decide not to tell your dad then your just as guilty as your mum is........she is your mum but what she is doing is wrong and your father must know !

Not going to offer any advice, as you'll know what to do in the end but you have my deepest sympathies.

maybe it's something completly different and you've all got the wrong end of the stick, it's sad but familys always break up one way or another.

Its none of your business, stay out of it.

its his PARENTS.

looks like you dont really have much of a choice but to talk it through with her, after all you know its wrong and not on, whatever you do decide on though, good luck with it.

Hi Mate, Well this is a toughie....

My first thought is what is your gran doing???? She has known for 3 months and is she telling your sister so that she can be seen to not be interfering?

You don't mention how old your sister is but it doesn't seem fair that your Gran is just passing this info on, especially when she could probably handle it a lot better than you or your sister.

IMHO you should speak to your Gran and let her know that you know. Find out what proof she has. If you get in-between mum/dad its a no-win situation. The ideal situation as far as I can see would be for your Gran to try and mediate this one.
