Dogs don't eat cats. Infact, you know I have never seen a dog actually chase a cat ala Looney Tunes.

Ive seen dogs take after cats but these dogs take after anything that moves.
If a cat doesnt run a dog wont give chase usually

I had a similar problem untill my (half male) kitten got big enough to defend our garden. Is the tom feral or a neighbours cat and do you know if he's spayed?

Perhaps ask the neighbours and see if they'd consider having him done if not already. If he has been done then there isn't a lot you can do except persivering with the hose and the water pistol untill your kitten get's bigger and spayed.

If he hasn't been done then get him snipped asap. If I was in your position I think I'd offer to take him to the vet and pay to get it done myself tbh. If it's a feral cat then phone the local concil who will trap and dispose of him I think.

HT

edit: keep your unspayed kitten inside unitll she's been done (at 6 months I think) or she will have her first litter of kittens very young.

that will upset his cats too though. Pepper works but only to keep all cats out.

Damn, true. Well, it may sound cruel, but i did know someone who wanted to get rid of a cat messing in his garden, so he caught him and swung him round by his tail and let go, never saw him again apparently.

Stake out with super soaker, actually, add a bit of your girl cat pee to the mix. That way other male cats will get confused and chase him, see how he like that :p

Oh FFS I assumed there weren't any animal rights nuts on a forum like this :(

er...dude, there's a serious line between people who don't like animals being shot/tortured/hurt/maimed and animal rights nuts. Surely you can see that?

I volunteer at a local animal rescue and if you saw some of the poor creatures that come in there, you might not think it was ok.

I'm not animal rights nut, shooting someone's pet is just wrong, if you do it then you're not right in the head.

I would not harm a dog that's crapping on my lawn, even though I don't like it.

BEAR TRAPS!!

That way you can say its to catch bears and the cat just happened to walk into it!

Or razor/barbed wire the fence or place it comes over and put a notice up saying, caution razor wire so you dont get told off

You shouldn't let any cat outside unsupervised until it's been neutered/spayed. Keep your ladies in and get them spayed asap. Meantime, supersoaker for the horny white one.
