What tool to open up laptop

I didn't want to use the knife but that was the only thing I could use to open it up a bit, I watched a video and the person used something similar to open up the corner then he used a plastic tool, whare ever he was using to start it off was something proper,a guitar pick would have been to thick to start it off.
 
I hope to upgrade my ram soon and have a couple of tools that I can try. I think the idea of starting in a corner is good.
 
guitar plectums are usefull, they come in different thicknesses with different amounts of flexibility/brittleness though, so if you don't have a guitar playing friend, you might have to buy a 'variety pack' to get a sutable one.
