What TV shows are you currently watching

Just binged the entire 3 seasons of Money Heist since i'm off work the last few days! Nearly binned it off due to AWFUL english dub (over the original spanish), but the story was really entertaining.

Netflix defaults to English dub out of the box, but you can change it to original audio and subtitles in the options.

I watched Sacred Games (Indian) and was close to stopping because of the dubbing, before realising

I watched with the subtitles on also :D But in the end I just put up with the Dubbing!
I can't watch anything with dubbing. Just detracts so much from the experience. I bought a City of Lost Children dvd a couple of years ago, but haven't been able to watch it because it's dubbed-only :(

Yeah it does ruin it a bit, a few of the voice actors are TERRIBLE, the one who does Denver especially, everytime he does that stupid laugh I just wanted to stop watching the show.

Other than that I really enjoyed it!

Much better with subtitles rather than dubbing or you lose much of the acting. I usually hate dubbed but found it easy to follow without really noticing I was reading.

I dunno if they've updated it but the subtitles in Money Heist were pretty LOL - worse than google translate when I watched it or at least upto the point I turned them off. The dubbing isn't great but I just about managed to find it watchable with them - but it is obvious a lot of the subtleties in that one are lost in both the subtitles and dubbing.

For some reason when I started watching DARK on Netflix it defaulted to German audio - normally does default to English dubs.

One more episode to go with Jack Taylor, an Irish ex cop turned private eye which is greater than the sum if it's parts.

Ian Glen from Game if Thrones plays Jack well. There are only 9 episodes but at 90 minutes each still take a bit of watching.

Ru Paul's Drag Race UK

I've heard people talking about this show for ages but never seen it. But it's coming to BBC Three in a fortnight so am just watching the "Meet The Queens" preview episode. I'm cracking up with laughter, it's so funny.

Currently enjoying Preacher, Power and Peaky Blinders. Is there anything else starting with P I should be watching?

If you like power give top boy a try, season 3 just came out but netflix has taken it over so season 1 and 2 arent must watches. theres only the occasional throw back but most of what they refer to is events that happened between season 2 and season 3 which no one knows yet.

To expand on Top Boy, i've been rewatching the first two seasons now that the new one is out and my wife hadn't seen them. They still stand up as excellent TV and IMO should be watched before the new show which i'm yet to start. If anything just to see how much of an absolute piece of filth Sully is, at least in season 1.

It's also a bit odd seeing Black Panthers little sister Shuri as a london estate teen "gangsta"

Anyone watch Stath Lets Flats?

I really enjoyed S1, after being uncertain after the first episode, but am waiting on the whole series to be available before watching S2.

Watched both seasons of Killing Eve this past week, and wow, it's utterly brilliant. Jodie Comer's performance is almost beyond comprehension. About the only complaint is the soundtrack, it's so boring and repetitive across both seasons and you start to notice the same music being used over and over again.

Yep, it's hilarious. I have no idea how Jamie Demetriou writes Stath's lines, they're amazing.
