Caught an episode this morning and now the Mrs wants to watch them all.

Currently watching banshee (late to the party) only started watching it as i was struggling to find something to watch and it popped up and i think i have seen a few mention it on here that it is decent 6 episodes in and really enjoying it.

The Handsmaid Tale with the wife. Had no idea what it was and 5 episodes in and it's proper messed up.

After seeing the press take note of Ted Lasso S2, we started S1 last night. Really like it.

That's two recent comedies from Apple we've watched, maybe that's their calling considering the service seems to be struggling a little.

Just finished Mare of Easttown, very impressed with Kate Winslet, good story too.

She was amazing in that show - great writing. Reminded me somewhat of True Detective S1, just a little less grim.

So, Burn Notice has been paused while I watch through Mr. Inbetween. They're only 25 min or so episodes, so they fly by quite quickly, I'm nearing the end of S2 and really enjoying Ray as a character.

I watched the first episode of Six Feet Under last night. That was pretty good.

I bought the first 3 seasons of Six Feet Under as my wife didn't see it first time around.

I remember that, the opening sequence of each episode made me shudder sometimes

Six Feet Under has aged surprisingly well. We're nearly at the end of series 1, and so far it has been great.

My wife is watching some reality TV nonsense.

She is literally watching someone paint a fence.

I despair. Is this entertainment?

Your description of her watching someone painting a fence made me laugh!!

But no, I don't think reality TV or whatever she was watching sounds entertaining at all.

I watched that "Time" on BBC1 and I thought it was excellent.

Definitely one of the best things I've seen on TV for a while.

Less grim? Finished Mare of Eastown last night, but it was relentlessly downbeat. There wasn't a single happy character. Kate Winslet was fantastic, though.

Oh it is, but I still found True Detective more harrowing.

Meh, it was OK.

I didn't think it warranted 6 episodes. 4 at the most would have been better I reckon.

Yep, it was very unusual, very satisfying. I am doing well at not giving the plot away to my wife, so far. I am looking forward to her reaction to that final episode.

I normally don't like rewatching TV shows, but am enjoying this, but because it's really about people and their relationships, it hasn't dated.
