What TV shows are you currently watching

I’ve been enjoying Brooklyn 99 season 8 on Netflix last week whilst I was away in Europe, go to switch it on tonight now that I’m back in Blighty and it hasn’t bloody well been released here yet :mad: gutted, was about 9 episodes in.

The series 'Black Bird' you mention looks good, I really enjoyed the Mind Hunter series and a shame it ended.

(still want to watch the Flatley movie)

Found the first couple of episodes hard to follow as they are bringing in new characters quickly who essentially all look, act and sound the same. Easy enough to distinguish who went on to be who in the clan. Settled now and quite enjoying it.

I was surprised to find there was a second season. Saw it a while ago. I'd say it's better than the first. The second season is very jarring at first. I think if I saw it too closely with the first I'd struggle to adapt.

I think I'm about 6 episodes in, its a bit slow to say the least. They haven't even put the clan together yet! Its been renewed for a third season. Given the pace of the first I'd imagine 3 will climax with the release of 36 Chambers :D
I'm liking it though. Definitely wouldn't recommend it for non fans.
 
I just finished Breaking Bad. Such a shame that it's over. :/

Despite not being one for lengthy tv shows, I really enjoyed this a lot. It's quite possibly the best tv series I've seen yet.

Some of the lighter moments made me chuckle and over time, I really started to develop a strong liking for Mr White.

The story's darker elements did take me by surprise at times, especially as time went on.


Well, I suppose I should check out Better Call Saul.

I put off watching BCS and see it has concluded with S6; perfect time to start!

I'm just about to finish S2 and am finding BCS to be excellent viewing.

I think I must be the only person who thinks this show is highly overrated. I mean it was good, but people make it out to be the best thing ever. I got to about season 4/5 and gave up. I wanted to beat Skyler to death as well the hypocrite.

Good that :D. I feel the same with BB, don't rate it highly at all. Was one show I watched where I disliked all the characters and was hoping each one would meet a dismal end. However me and the Mrs watched the lot in an extraordinary short amount of time and this was pre Netflix binging habits and years before covid lockdowns so can't really explain it other than I too was hypnotised.

It is amazing TV, but i feel you about Skyler! Whenever she was on screen, the pace and mood plummeted :(

There's even a fan edit where she has been removed almost entirely :)
