What TV shows are you currently watching

I put off watching BCS and see it has concluded with S6; perfect time to start!

I'm just about to finish S2 and am finding BCS to be excellent viewing.
I really struggled with the first few seasons of BCS any time it was about Chuck (to the point I stopped watching for a few years after S1), didn't find that element interesting in the slightest, the rest of it was great. S4 onwards for me it really hit it's stride and finished it a few weeks back.

There are maybe 2 or 3 episodes that reached the greatness of BB but overall - it never managed to maintain that level.

I might be in a minority but i'd love a series about Mike, I found every minute with him on screen absolutely compelling viewing. However to find anyone as good as Jonathan Banks to play the role will be impossible. Also due to his age, it could never really happen.

I just finished Breaking Bad. Such a shame that it's over. :/

Despite not being one for lengthy tv shows, I really enjoyed this a lot. It's quite possibly the best tv series I've seen yet.

Some of the lighter moments made me chuckle and over time, I really started to develop a strong liking for Mr White.

The story's darker elements did take me by surprise at times, especially as time went on.

Well, I suppose I should check out Better Call Saul.
Breaking Bad was the first box set I'd ever watched so it was probably more memorable for me in that respect.

I can laugh about it now but I was genuinely upset when it ended. Lol!

It actually put me off watching other box sets for years though because I became too invested, and attached to it, and then was bereft when it finished!!

Thankfully I'm not quite as bad now which is good as live tv is pretty rubbish these days. I can happily watch something from beginning to end now and I no longer have a breakdown about it!!

Watched the first episode of GOT: House of The Dragon the other night, really enjoyed it - struggled a bit with Matt Smith (never watched Who, just not an actor I like) but generally was a solid opening episode, great performances across the board and keen to see where it goes - mild nostalgia when the GOT theme kicked in at the end of the episode.

Finally got round to Fargo, S1 and S2 - very impressed. I think after Tim in The Office, this is the best work Martin Freeman has done. Allison Tolman was fantastic I thought, And BBT was just magnetic in S1. S2 not quite as good but again, it was so well-acted. Top marks to Kirsten Dunst in this - although everyone was good.

Finished all 151 episodes of Malcolm in the Middle. :o

Ok judge me...but I was pleasantly surprised...Married at First Sight. On episode 3 at the moment trying to catch up. Parts of it are quite wholesome and people explaining why they are doing this.

Mostly 'normal' people but a few ridic ones of course.

Tried watching The Sandman but I don't know if it's for me. It sounds interesting and some of the visuals are appealing but I don't know...

Perhaps it was too late to start watching it anyway and due to scratchy eyes when tired, I soon fell into my own dream.

Missus has dusted off Stargate Universe.

Hey ho, never really been a fan of the Stargate shows, couldn't buy into all the neo-Egyptian mythology, Jafar or whatever and the whole thing at times is very jingoistic and military overblown.
Universe thus far has avoided some of the trappings but essentially it's ST Voyager in Stargate.
However, there are a few jarring elements. We have this group of people who were quite happy to work 1000's of light years from Earth but then spend the whole show whinging about being stuck on a ship which is taking a grand tour of the galaxy.
They can't get home, but hey if you want to talk to HQ or your relatives there are body swap stones that work instantly across this vast distance.
We had a time loop episode on a planet where half the main cast are killed by creatures but the next episode everyone is back on the ship as if nothing happened.
We have a military commander who struggles to keep order and can't see that the civilian leaders have their own agenda.

Luckily there's only two seasons as apparently the show got cancelled, leaving the dysfunctional crew forever lost in space. Thank god.
