What TV shows are you currently watching

Watched a few episodes of Uncoupled last night, missus choice as something lighthearted but actually really enjoyed it. Neil Patrick Harris plays a middle aged gay guy who suddenly gets left by his partner and has to deal with the aftermath. Felt like a gay sex & the city and it's an easy 30 minute watch, I like NPH anyway, thought he was great in How I met your mother.
Finished this last night - decent little comedy series, I hope it gets renewed.

Devil in Ohio - struggled through to the end hoping it got good. It didn't.

Is writing getting worse? It feels like it. Perhaps its just the sheer volume of stuff being churned out by the likes of Netflix. The thing that seems to be getting more common is reasonably high budget, reasonably high scope but utterly dross writing.

Most of the characters in this were unlikeable. There were pointless subplots that served no purpose at all other than to tick a few "diversity boxes". There was a weird "post end" section in the final episode that made no sense. All in all just a bit of a mess. Another series with an interesting premise with awful execution.

Watched the first episode of Welcome To Wrexham over the weekend, nice easy viewing and considering i'm less than interested in football, it's quite telling i'm eager to watch more of it.

About halfway through season two of Better Call Saul.

It's interesting seeing the links between the two shows, this and BB.

Swoons at Kim Wexler. :)

Watched episode 1 of 'Inside Man' on BBC.

Cringey bit on the start on a London tube.

Then one plotline is really good, with Stanley Tucci as a Prisoner on death row who takes on cases of moral worth

The other plotline with David Tennant is absolutely ridiculously unbelievable. Literally no person on earth would be making the decisions he made.

2/5 so far. I am not sure whether to bother watching anymore.

Episode 2 of Sandman 8/10 - really liking it so far. Very surreal love it

Episode 4 of house of the dragon 4/10 - bored of it, I guess I expected fantasy. Might give up.

Dahmer. Blinking heck it's a bit good this. Seeing it acted out and how he went about snaring and killing so many, it's totally disturbing yet incredible TV.

The Walk In. ITV Hub

With a looming Brexit vote wreaking havoc across the British political landscape, tensions are high for activist Matthew Collins and his advocacy group Hope Not Hate, who fear a violent, racist campaign from far-right extremist group National Action. With the police having limited intelligence on the far right, Matthew needs an inside man in the organisation. Written by BAFTA award-winning Jeff Pope and starring Stephen Graham as Matthew Collins.

Very good.
