What TV shows are you currently watching

Started watching it last night, I knew paddy was going to be the actor Jack O'Connell. He's done some good films too. Starred Up, 71 (the troubles I'm Ireland) etc. Soundtrack is great.

Good show so far. SAS are the best. 6 Days is decent too. It's about the 1980 Iranian embassy siege.

Anyone watching SAS Rogue Heroes? All episodes on iPlayer, I'm on ep.4 and it's absolutely fantastic so far.
Yep. ******* awesome show. What makes it even better is, even though it's dramatised for TV, a lot of the things those guys got up to are actually true. Cracking soundtrack too.

Oh yeah, also Sofia Boutella. Schwing.

Just finished SAS Rogue Heroes. Very impressed with it, much better than the usual stuff turned out by the BBC. Very much looking forward to season 2.

4 ep's in of 6 for Hellbound on netflix. Interesting idea, "otherworldly" entities murder individuals after "the voice of god" has foretold when they will die, a well funded cult forms around this and seems to take control of the country. Quite brutal even for Korean standards , with only 2 ep's to go i don't think it will answer many questions and i don't think there will be a season 2 but I'm sticking with it till the end just in case.

I do wish they would hurry up and make Kingdom S3.

Enjoyed that show, I also doubt there will be a season 2 somehow. Noticed Manifest season 4 has popped up on Netflix. Glad they had a recap at the start as I couldn't remember anything from the first 3 seasons.

Not Armando Iannucci's finest series by any stretch, but I'm rather enjoying Avenue 5. Absurdist black comedy set on a luxury space cruiser knocked off course and facing 3 years in space rather than an 8 week roundtrip, it has plenty of good characters and performances, and some real laugh out loud moments but is, for my money, neither biting enough in its satire nor consistently funny enough throughout to be a must watch classic. Still, worth checking it out if you're looking for some light watching.

And great if you need a Hugh Laurie fix :D I loved the airlock scene! Hope it gets a second season but not sure it’s hitting a particularly large target audience to get one though.

Re warched Devs, in Disney+.

It was probably a 7/10 sci-fi the 1st time round and drops to 6/10 on second watching.

It felt really cool about 7 years ago, but these shows that cover a sort of "evil" tech company with their hands in everything don't age so well, considering the reality of the situation!

There's already a second season :). Actually, it's currently being released, I hadn't realised that until I checked the dates :p. We must be almost caught up.
