What TV shows are you currently watching

After seeing Rob M in Welcome to Wrexham and seeing the memes over the years, decided to give It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia a try last night and watched first 2 episodes.

Not exactly a great start, maybe chuckled 2 or 3 times through the episodes - first season is short so will watch it all and see if it sticks.

Already had enough of the Charlie character, single shouty acting style across other movies/TV i've seen him in - rest of the cast seem decent enough.

The Consultant

it was weird but I couldn't stop watching all while not really getting what the point was.

IASIP is decent but much like you Charlie ruined it for me. His voice drives me insane.

Binge watched the 3 episode netflix documentary on Alex Murdaugh, the lawyer that killed his wife and son. It only goes up to as far as him being in jail for something else and being charged with the murders, i.e. its before the murder trial.

But its fascinating story of a family living in a small US county wielding power from a privileged position, and how other unexplained deaths with linked to the family were swept under the carpet for years until finally being exposed.

Yeaaaaah I am in the minority in not enjoying the priest. :p
I think there are a few people around the world echoing that sentiment… ;)

Will there ever be a Fleabag 3? I thought she said it was a ‘two and done’ sort of thing.

I guess with her success and the shows success you can never say never. Look at Fawlty Towers making a comeback… shudder

There's always 'Crashing' for those that like PWB in Fleabag. She plays a very similar character. Think it ran at the same time as Fleabag too.

Just finished Escape at Dannemora based on the 2015 Clinton Correctional Facility escape which I found while looking for some more content on Paramount Plus to watch. A slow burner but some interesting characters and good plot.

Season 1 isn't that great. Season 2 is where it really starts to pick up with Frank Reynolds AKA Doctor Mantis Toboggan :D

The Swarm, (nature is angry and seems out for revenge for the damage humans have done to the seas). Watched the episodes back to back and kept me entertained. Based on a book apparently, so I might check it out next.

Django. Odd.

How there isnt a 1,000 page complaints thread on this already I dont know.
I got one episode in and that was a struggle, it just made no sense, lacked any plausibility, and full of clichés. moody mysterious man walks into a bar....

If I'm desperate I might give ep2 a chance to see where the plot goes.

You just know how the critical drinker will review it!
