What TV shows are you currently watching

I watched the 1st season as a throwaway show while I was eating/etc - didn't realise it had subsequent seasons.

That absolutely describes it. Throwaway show whilst eating or just in-between some other shows.

It actually has 5 seasons. After some of the episodes I left thinking what possible crisis can there be next. I'll probably finish season 2 and call it at that. Ratings do seem to improve as it goes on though. The highest rated episodes are all partway through S2 and into S3.

Just started watching Blake's 7 again as it was on telly the other year and I've just got round to it. Cheesy effects but still entertaining :).
Rewatched them myself a few years ago. Such a great story and characters, but yes janky effects!

I'd be up for a remake as long as they kept the dark storyline and kept wokeness out of it - but ofc we know that won't happen.

Watching Treason on Netflix - Main character is played by the actor who played Daredevil in the series from a few years ago

It is only 5 episodes, so shouldn't take long to finish and the story seems decent up to now

Grabbed a couple of eps of a few shows for watching on the plane

Cyberpunk Edge Runners - not an anime fan whatsoever but 3 eps in and enjoying it
Killing Eve - late to the party but first ep had me chuckling
Reacher - not the setting I was expecting. Small town cop drama humdrum. 2 eps so far, will give it 1 more before ditching.

I got bored about midway through Edgerunners, which is odd as i've put stupid hours into CP2077.

Reacher is very average viewing, once you get past the gimmick it's high school level writing and characters.

Yes
I thought the same after the ending of season 4, till I came across it on the ITV player, I think it was a recent release.
I'm hoping it will continue.
It's something I started while laid up in bed with covid the other year and it immediately drew me in. Would also like suggestions for something similar.

It started on Monday on ITV, didn't know the whole series was on ITV X. I'll pace myself and whizz through the ads as ITV X has crazy amounts of the same few ubskippabke ads.

Just re-watched the first episode from season one of Mayor of Kingstown, started it a while back but couldn't remember how far in I got, so thought I'd start from scratch, in preparation to watching season two when next away with work.

Stick with it, on episode 6 and it's been consistently great throughout.

Oh I intend to! I was very much enjoying it the first time I watched it, but for the life of me can't recall how many episodes in I got :D

I think I'll have start keeping a note on my phone to keep track of which episode I'm up to across all the shows I have on the go.

You, off Netflix, and waiting for the 9th March 2023! Second part of series four.

Though, I find the main female lead is not very interesting.

I find the characters all pretty unlikeable, so I am glad when they get popped off.

Also just finished the first part of Series 4.

I really hope they call it a day at that, it's been a good programme to watch, but the earlier seasons were definitely the better ones.

Chris Rock: Selective Outrage

it was great, I think he said everything people have been thinking about Will Smith and Meghan Markle etc

He cleared up everything people had been thinking about (the slap) for the last year.

To be honest I have more respect him than ever before.

its worth watching just for that.

Yeah, I have ep1, as I guess that's aired. I'll wait for the others rather than having to watch the ads...
Thanks to whoever it was that made the ITVx suggestion. The ad breaks on there (well at least for this series) are all short. 10 sec ad for Cupra born, another ad, and then another 10 secs for Cupra Born, and then its done. 30-40 secs max.

I don't have the ITVx app on the TV, but did happen to have it on my phone and it cast well to the TV.

I enjoyed series 5 of forgotten more than I thought, I really like Nicola Walker, but the character that "replaces" her (who as I recall featured in some of the earlier series as a not-well-liked superior who came in do do a review), also turned into an enjoyable watch. I can see Forgotten going on for another series or 2.
