What TV shows are you currently watching

After a particularly rough night with one of my kids, I decided to give Dark another shot while he was sleeping on me. Originally watched the first episode and then never got any further. Holy moly, three episodes watched and I'm utterly hooked.

I'm 3 episodes into the final season and struggling to finish :(

But yes, i was hooked when it first aired, I even had a print out of the character trees so I could keep up with who is who - it was fricking confusing!

Finished Rabbit Hole. In the end it was a rubbish ending to a mediocre series. The flashbacks were overused as plot twists, even up till the very end. Tried too hard to be other much better shows and failed.

rp2000

Sad to hear - I've not watched the final episode yet, I'd say 5 out of the first 7 were decent with 2 feeling more like filler.

I thought the finish was pretty much in line with the rest of the season. Maybe it was all a little too easy in the end? I expected another big twist maybe.

Finished Snowfall, well that was pretty depressing but probably deserved.
At least Oso managed to get out of it and Lee carried on with the Mission, it was hard to root for anyone else

Forgot to mention the Rick James lookalike gave me the creeps.

I'd say my only criticism would be the ending felt kind of rushed, while there were 2 episodes which felt like mostly dead air - the twist would have actually been excellent with a bit more build up.

Also the gunman in the car at the start was a bit LOL as she looks right into the car before getting in - no way would have missed someone there

Don't see the point in "hating subtitles" as it completely closes you off from a literal world of new TV/movies, but OK.

I can't stand them either... sometimes I watch things with them - like Ip Man, where I'm really interested in the content & they're not too heavy.

It's not a distain for foreign media or anything... I find them incredibly distracting - maybe due to dyslexia - my eyes get hyper-focused on the text & I miss most of the movie because of it.

Same thing happens for me with English content - ie, when visiting an elderly relative with hearing trouble and they're enabled, I struggle.

Some people just different, you know? ;)

Mrs Davis

I haven't seen anyone mention this one yet. Episode 6 just came out today.

I am absolutely LOVING this show!

The story isn't the most complex, still have a decent idea how the plot is going to play out - but the difference with this one is, I still enjoy watching to see how it plays out.

The crazy combo of a nun working to destroy an all-powerful AI, quest to find the holy grail and destroy it, while married to black Jesus & the last episode about the importance of the liver transplant etc etc... it's hilarious and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

I started watching the diplomat last night, its pretty decent, US/UK political drama, anyone that was into the west wing will like it, good pacing, some good humour in it too similar that way to WW too. Not the same quality of course, not sure anything can match that, but it *is* good IMO.

My missus has taken to watching Yellowjackets in the evening...

Bit of a mess quite frankly. Can't make up its mind exactly what it wants to be with elements of Heathers, Lost, Alive, Cabin In The Woods/Evil Dead; Desperate Housewives and political drama in the current day.

Currently watched about 5 episodes of Season 1 and hoping it actually starts to make coherent sense at some point.

haha just wait, it gets far weirder. It came out a similar time to 'The Wilds' but is much darker, and of course is massively more multi-faceted. Christina Ricci is brilliant. Juliet Lewis plays Juliet Lewis as she does in practically every film and show she's in.

I started Mystery Road, Origin and I'm really enjoying it.

It feels a nice and easy watch and particularly when summer is on its way!

Have you seen the other Mystery Roads and the films? Wondering where to start.

Finally got round to watching Peacemaker, got to admit I expected more. It was good but not great. The cast and humour was great but the overall story with the Butterflies was incredibly bland. 7 maybe 7.5 out of 10.

Yeah I have and it's probably a good idea to start with the origin one first.

started watching star trek the next generation on netflix

(yeah, admiting to watching star trek on a gaming forum is social suicide I know)

liking the series. its a bit out of the box series .

I suspect the people that wrote the script were probably high on the classic 90s drug methamphetamines/lsd as its a bit whacky in some parts...you have to have a very 'creative' mindset to be able to put a next generation script together

but its a good watch . only observation it makes you feel old knowing you watched in when you were younger........30 years ago

I'm up to S3 of a rewatch. As it was out in the 80's, there are some episodes i hadn't seen. Also, there are some pretty poor episodes so far.

S1 - S2 were far too much Welsey (can't recall if that remains the same throughout) and i'm fed up of Troi, every episode, "i feel something, but i don't know what it is".

Still not a chore to watch though!
