hes great as a entertainer. thats really whats made him popular. i have laughed myself many times at him as well.

How these police officers are treating this poor vulnerable woman, who was having a mental health crisis is just horrendous.

It is really disturbing and upsetting viewing so I'd advise caution.

The whole thing was soul destroying and painted the Police in a terrible light.
 
Our current line up.

Yellowstone - just finishing part one of season 5. I've mostly checked out on this one but Mrs EddScott is enjoying. Coster is looking bored, the "evil" son is annoyingly weak, the good "son" is just annoying and his wife complains all the time. Beth's **** are still awesome but that's about it.

Slow Horses - just finised Season 1. Very watchable, some silly bits, like spooks but not as serious and Gary Oldman is superb in everything he does.

True Detective Season 4. It's not really a True Detective. Other than two coppers who don't get along all that well, and some shoe-horned in references to Season 1. I read that it was initially an unrelated stand alone story (bit like Cloverfield Lane) could also have been a decent follow up season to Fortitude (better than the rubbish that was S2 and S3 of that show) the differences between S4 and previous season don't really matter as such and it's a very good series all on its own.

Just finished Battlestar Galactica , did watch several of the episodes of the first season when it was first aired then didnt bother watching anymore.
Decided to give it another go and ended up watching all 5 seasons in a few months (probably down to the Beautiful Tricia Helfer).
Wow got to be one of the finest series ever produced , some crappy episodes but on the whole excellent.
Wasnt till Tom Zarek was executed that i realised he was the original Apollo.

I was late to the party for Battlestar Galatica but not as late as you, and I agree it's amazing. It is a loving reboot of a childhood classic for a more adult market. It applies 30 years of increasing sophistication in TV writing and nails it. I was blown away at how good it was and the fact it never picked up mainstream recognition.

I'm watching Justified at the moment, just finished season 2, another one where I'm arriving a long time after it finished. Really great show, good performances from Olyphant and Goggins. I like that from the very start the episodic structure is serving an overall season arc from what I would normally expect to be a police procedural baddie of the week type show.

Reacher S2 - Good, but not as good as S1
Serverence - Quirky, really enjoyed it and a good cliffhanger for S2
True Detective S1 - Easily the best thing I've watched in ages, the interaction between Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey is brilliant

Started Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, I doubt it'll win any awards, but it's definitely watchable

Is Reacher any good? I keep getting tid bits on youtube and seems decent
 
Finished Reacher the other day, if you liked Banshee then your gonna like it, if you haven't watched Banshee then watch that as well :D

Not really sure how i missed Reacher, but my wife suggested it as she's read the books but quickly lost interest, i ended up watching both seasons in a week.
