What TV shows are you currently watching

Ben Fogle: New Lives in the Wild. Fascinating documentaries following unique people who have chosen to live in remote places, and Ben Fogle is a very likeable journalist.

Currently watching The Victim on BBC.

It's quite good but my god it's annoying that the main woman has had so much botox she can't move her face. It's the same whether she's mean to be happy/sad/relieved/scared!

She must be able to move it a bit given her emmy and golden globe nominations.

On a bit of a 'sadcom' stretch at the moment, having watched S2 of Atlanta (excellent), I'm now on Barry (also great). Plan to probably do Fleabag next, providing it's still on iPlayer, as I've not seen any of it and I've heard a lot of good things.

Yes, I know I'm late to it but decided to give Homeland a go.

Over half way through Season 2 already and that's after just over week, really enjoying it so far, hope the other Seasons continue in the same vain as what I've seen so far.

PS. Should any reply regarding it No Spoilers PLEASE!

I do enjoy Homeland, I love off her meds Carrie, but that season where Carrie and Brody go back in time to save, but end up killing, JFK was a little silly.

Started watching 'Band of Brothers' yesterday.

Also watching 'Happy!' but I don't know I'll carry on... it's one weird TV show...

DO NOT, I repeat do not give up on Happy, it's brilliant and gets better and better, very off the wall though.

How do you know? I think I'm only one episode behind at the moment (just watched S02E04... okay, apparently S02E06 just aired too). I enjoyed S01, but S02 not so much so far.

I think maybe it's just got too silly. The bottom line is, most shows I watch I'm really looking forward to the next episode. I just don't have that feeling with 'Happy!' now. Likewise with 'Santa Clarita Diet' too, which I'm half way through... maybe that's because I now know it's cancelled?

Fair point, i've watched a bunch of first episodes of shows lately and while I enjoyed them, i've had little interest in going back to them. The most recent two were Russian Doll and Umbrella Academy. Similarly, i watched the first season of SCD, loved it but had no desire to watch seasons 2 or 3.

I guess the danger is, a lot of shows wont grab you in the first one or two episodes, but could be very good still. I watched the first two eps of Breaking Bad many years ago and didn't get grabbed. I think it was a year later I went back and watched a couple more and got hooked. To me BB is now perhaps the best TV show ever... and I almost didn't bother with it after 2 eps.

Exactly the same, took about 4 attempts to finish season 1 of Breaking Bad over the years then it finally stuck and now it's an all time favourite.

I'm kind of having the opposite issue right now in that i really like the opening episodes of some new shows i'm watching but there is nothing hooking me and making me want to watch more. With Breaking Bad I literally just didn't think a lot of the first few episodes but then it just improved season on season.
