What TV shows are you currently watching

Oh my... Cobra Kai is possibly one of the cheesiest shows I've seen in some time. It's so bad... but I do keep watching, lol :( Some people seem to really rate it. Is it just the nostalgia thing though?
 
Nostalgia, tongue-in-cheek and the rivalry between Johnny and Daniel is great, but the teen angst is annoying. Johnny comes across as the underdog and the reverse interpretation of Daniel having been the high school bully is brilliant :D
 
Coming to the end of some of my favourite shows I've watched:

- Agents of Shield. 5 episodes left. Season 7 has been a little odd, but the show has been great.
- Supernatural. 3 episodes left. Should have ended earlier, but what a run it's had.
- Life on Mars / Ashes to Ashes. 5 episodes left. Brilliant. Philip Glenister must have had an absolute ball shouting out some of his lines.

Have now almost re-watched all of Only Fools and Horses with the fiancee who, not being from the UK had never seen it before. Belly laughs in almost every episode.
Finished Time on our Hands after the auction. Meant to be the last episode and was the perfect ending. Probably should have stopped there.
Will watch the last three as barely remember them now.
 
Yes Minister (keeps me smiling every episode and find it hilariously relevant to today politics)
Mandalorian (finished, enjoyed and love it. can't wait to see what season 3 is all about)
Expanse (struggling to get into the latest series, a bit of expanse fatigue maybe. but the story is always quick slow to build up so may give it a bit of grace)
Cobra Kai (not enjoying this one - too much of repeat and rinse and lack originality)

Its interesting isn't it. Its awful but I did manage to make it through the first season and a couple of the second. I have no particular nostalgia or affinity for the original films either. Its odd. I think perhaps that makes it better. Its badly acted in a lot of places and just ridiculous but lots of people seem to like it.

Sweet Home.

Up to episode 7 and this is getting progressively worse. Each week we see less monsters and more soap opera drama with crying and shouting amongst the group.

Speaking of the group, I just don't care about them - whiney, self centred drama queens.

Also so much use of slo-mo and and a good track, but used in the most ridiculous of places - let's spend 10 minutes watching people have their temperature taken in slow motion with a thumping sound track.

But, 2 episodes to go..........

Also started Alice in borderland on the recommendation from here - fingers crossed!
 
Yeah I've almost finished Sweet Home. The monsters are interesting but the rest of it is pretty generic zombie survival show. Also it's really weird how they keep playing the same Imagine Dragons song from LOL every episode, doesn't fit at all :D
 
Just finished Bridgerton, I am sure that I am not the target audience for this romance novel on screen but I found it hilarious in places and good fun throughout.

Ah, didn't know the name of the track, but yes, it's like they only have one tune! Going to check it out.

1 episode in of AliceIB, weird start, but certainly wound up the tension towards the end! Enjoyed the first episode.

Also started cobra kai season 3 tonight, but time to relax with some F for Family.
 
Finished Mythic Quest, Ravens Banquet. Funny comedy set in the world of gaming. Pretty good fare 8/10.

Cobra Kai season 3, kinda getting bored of it now - hope season 4 (if they make one) is final.
 
Just finished Ozark. Good but a little overrated I think. Nonsensical decisions that go against everything the characters seem to know or have learned to create fake tension constantly just takes me out the moment.

I'm not sure what to watch next. Quite a lot on my watch list. S3 Fargo, S3 True Detective, The Boys, Umbrella Academy, Lilyhammer, Kingdom or maybe something else entirely.
 
Umbrella Academy is great.

Started watching Alice in Borderlands, this is really good. Didn't expect them to
kill 3/4 of the main characters in the third episode!
