I agree with you, and I only highlight your typo/error to illustrate that this stuff is easy.

I would also like to ask you (and any other worthy forumites) a pointed question "Do you agree that me being called a tool is more worthy of condemnation than the pettiness dispensed by this gang?"

I ask this because you and others seem to shy away from criticising what I see as the bigger issue.

There's a difference between a type or the occasional mistake, and your original post.

Either way, 2000 is FAR too much. Either the lazyboy, or get a nice couch. Even if it's a 2 seater.

Ok so its not occasional now ;), heck you're as culpable as me now. However I do note that you deliberately avoided answering my question, can you answer please?

To be fair you do seem at least close to being fair, I still do not understand why you have not answered my pointed question?

I did. Twice.

Being the most recent. I also answered it in my first post in the thread.

As for the spelling, defense is how it is spelt in the USA. For example - http://www.defense.gov/ I spell mostly US English because of several reasons.

1. I do web design focusing on the USA market (hence I almost constantly need to use US English).

2. I am currently writing a book, I desire to target it to US publishers and therefore I type in US English.

There are others, but I cannot be bothered to list them all. :p

Your question (such as it was) has been answered. If you are not looking at the replies to it and instead focusing on correcting spelling because people (quite rightly) complained your original post was virtually impossible to read, well that's your issue.

Yes that is correct it is US spelling making it NOT proper English spelling. I point this out as the main thrust of the haranguing I received was associated with this concept, ergo, it is pertinent. It is no justification that you say you do web design blah de blah, what does that matter? however if that renders it ok then I practice noo-slang-o-speak, its a new hip street slang that I created off the cuff just yesterday so all my typos/grammar errors are in fact admissable :)

In addition, yet again I find myself exasparated that you have not answered my question (the pointed one), here it is AGAIN

LOL @ 'noo-slang-o-speak'

me2 or if you would like the American spelling - Hell yeah me2
You could write a book and target it to the noo-slang-o-speak publishers?

It renders it okay because it's a language, which is perfectly okay to read.

Rather thn tping lie th1s in your first post.

Hmmmm, would US English be a language per se? or would it be a variant of our beautiful language so eloquently moniker-ed by our good friend Angilion. It doesn't matter anyway your contention is flawed as by your rules it would be perfectly acceptable to answer in erm say the Yoruba language. Clearly that would not be okay to read.In addition, let's not forget you lot were being picky, rudely so but now when the same scrutiny is applied surprise surprise you are found out.

You further dilute your argument by exaggerating my heinous crime.

Oh and STILL no answer?

Thread does no longer deliver, thread should be locked.

Au contraire, I think this thread has inadvertently addressed an issue that pervades forums at times. My original post whilst sloppy and lazy got rounded on to a degree that really was unnecessarily rude.
