I dread to put the kiss of death on it, but it seems Heroes has actually managed to regain a bit of form in the last couple of episodes, to the point where I'm starting to enjoy watching it again. I guess it's just the fact they seem to have had a decent run of un-interfered-with episodes that they've managed to form a decent story again, and it seems like a while since they've had to use some kind of contrived "something just kinda happened" plot device to change characters/appease networks/avert poor storylines/plan for the writers strike and the like. The occasionally poor acting still makes me cringe at times, but otherwise it's not too bad. Peter's power has pretty much been rewritten into something more sensible, and the story is a less "Oh no something terrible is going to happen soon!" than it usually is.
