What was the last thing you ate and how would you rate it?

Chili Con Carne that I cooked last month, I forgot that it had Chorizo in it which I hate in Chili... it was doubly disappointing as I thought it was the last Chili I cooked which was delicious - 6 out of 10

Toasted home-made multigrain bread with butter, 9/10

Spaghetti alla Putanesca from Jamie's 30 minute meals.

Was yummy but needed a bit more chilli - I was a bit scared to put two whole chillies, seeds and all, so only used 1, but didn't have enough of a kick.

7/10, not my best work.

Mexican chicken sandwich - 6/10

Nice enough but I'm in a bit of a rut of mexican/garlic/coronation/cajun sandwiches for lunch.

Tesco's 'Finest' Aberdeen Angus burgers, with a slice of cheddar. Served in a white bun.

The burgers were lovely taste-wise. But they were too thick, so I had to re-form them before cooking. And the buns I used were a bit rubbish tbh. So 6.5/10.

Home-made minestrone. Not bad, but something wasn't quite there. I'll work it out before I make my next batch. 7/10.

tom soup in microwave, was meh but was hungry and had nowt much in. Had tried scrambled egg as needed using up as the best before was dec but tasted well not great so only had a tiny bit and left the rest.
