What was your first bike?

Vespa 50cc back in 1988 cos i was only 16. Then as soon as i was 17, well a couple of months after being 17, since i was still coming down from the high of finally being at the age to owning a car ! I purchased a TZR125.

Then I had a KRS-1

Soon followed by a CBR400RR

Then an R6, followed by another R6, I also had a Ducati Monster 750 at the same time as my 2nd R6, and during this stage, I even had a Fazer for a little commuting from South London to North London.. But that didn't last long... Also had a couple of Scooters, A Gilera Runner 125, A Peugeot Speedfight and a Malaguti F18 Warrior.

Today I'm happy just pootling around off road on some gravel tracks on a supermoto Kawasaki KLX250-SF.

Sorry can't remember prices, but each one of them would have been a good deal

I had a Yamaha DT 125 R 1991 for my first bike. I loved it as it could bounce over fields and kerbs for short cuts

I now own a GSX 650F 2010.

it was an absolute minter i bought in 01. Wrote it off twice (halfords wheel trim paint is a perfect match for the frame colour after blowtorching it but i did tell him

), got 9 points and got banned hence i sold it 9 months later lol....

...and then went racing in 02 and won a novice 600 championship.

1st Bike
Kawasaki AR 80 (C2) 1984 model. I was 17.
It cost me £700 and I kept it for 5 months until I swapped up to:

A 1985 RD125LC with Allspeed exhaust. Blew a hole in the top of the piston, had a rebuild and the cdi then gave in. Sold it for spares as cdi's were like hens teeth back then

Moved on to a RGV250, loved it to bits. Sold it on as it started to get a bit "tired" Lol. Would love another one, but I'm too portly and cramp up too much now I'm old. Lol.

Went over to a Kwak KR-1, good bike but I preferred the looks of the RGV and we never really "gelled"

Then, a RD350LC. Loved the bike, due to it looking a bit retro (and a mate selling it cheap)

Next up, jellymould shape CBR600 (G reg I think). I thought it was the fastest thing on 2 wheels at the time

Then a 15 year holiday from motorcycling.

Last 3 years I have had a 1999 GSXR-750 SRAD, I bought it with 13k on the clock and it has 14.5k on it now. Keep thinking of upgrading to a 1000, but can't justify it as I don't ride this one as much as I should.
