My first game (that I remember) was Back 2 skool on the spectrum Loved that game.
Wish they would remake it...a proper sandbox game set in an English school.

Marathon and Carmageddon on mac roughly around about 1997 when I would have been 7 years old.

I don't know what it was for me- we had a Commadore 64 and it was a vertical scrolling car combat game.

The first I can properly remember playing is Alladin and The Lion King. I think for the "drm" I had to enter words from the manual!

Paradroid 90 and Flood among many others on the Atari ST. Probably around 1988 or 1989.

Good times, good times.

That was a great game - did you also play the original Skooldaze? - I can highly recommend Klass of 99 (PC remake) if you've not already tried it.

Vertical scrolling = Spyhunter? You also turned into a boat at one of the stages.

My first computer game will have been something I typed in from a listing in a magazine. Can't remember what.

The first game I can remember being bought was probably this :

Breakout on ZX80
3d Monster Maze on ZX81 16k
Elite on BBC
Alien Adventure on Vic 20
Hunchback on CBM 64
Cant remember on Amiga and PC

My first game was a demo of Doom, I'd play it over and over again. It was quite a long one, but you'd get to a certain point where you'd just die instantly and then it was game over.

Age of Mythology.
Was astonished.

Just picked it up for £5 on Steam, very excited to hear the music and do some missions.
