What was your first product you purchased from overclockers?

This doesn't show in 'My Account' on the website any more but the first record I have from OcUK is from August 2005:

  • £64.95+VAT x 1 - Antec Sonata II Piano Black Quiet Case - 450W Smart Power PSU (CA-040-AN)
  • £55.95+VAT x 1 - Asus A8N-E nForce4 Ultra (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-088-AS)
  • £134.95+VAT x 1 - AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Venice 90nm (Socket 939) - Retail (ADA3500BPBOX) (CP-119-AM)
  • £159.95+VAT x 1 - Sapphire ATI Radeon X800 XL 256MB DDR3 TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (11053-00-40) (GX-088-SP)

  • £39.95+VAT x 1 - Plextor PX-740A 16x16 Dual Layer DVD±RW ReWriter - (Beige) Retail (cd-031-pl)

Look how cheap everything was!

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 "LGA775 Core 2" 2.50GHz (800FSB) - Retail

OCZ Gold Edition 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 Dual Channel Series (OCZ2G8004GK)

Sony Optiarc AD-5200A 20x DVD±RW IDE Dual Layer ReWriter (Black) - OEM

Gosh that's going back some!

I bought two AMD 1700+ thoroughbred B processors at £45 each to replace one that I had blown up overclocking. I never used the second one and do not remenber what happened to it. This must have been 2003 'ish.

I had just moved south from Lancashire and used D*B's when they had a shop counter previously

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (ST3500630AS) £54.99 1 £54.99

Creative Fatal1ty HS-800 Gaming Headset £24.99 1 £24.99

So... that's interesting to me, because I just replaced my mouse last week via OCUK, and I was wondering how old the deathadder I had was. Now I know :)

According to OcUK my first purchase was:

OcUK said:
Corsair HX 620W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply (CMPSU-620HXUK)
Antec 900 Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case - Black
Intel Core 2 DUO LGA775 E6600 2.40GHz Retail / Asus P5K-E WiFi / 2GB Corsair XMS2-6400C5 DDR2 Dual Channel Kit - Bundle
Gainward BLISS GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (WD5000AAKS)
Asus MW221U 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Silver/Black
Microsoft Windows XP Professional 32-Bit - SP3 - OEM (E85-05683)
Mcafee Internet Security Suite 2007 - OEM (CD Only / No License)
Western Digital Raptor 150GB 10000RPM SATA 16MB Cache - OEM (WD1500ADFD) x2

But I'm sure I bought a Gainward 7800 GS+BLISS AGP before that.
It was a 7800 GTX chip sold as a GS+ on AGP as opposed to the newfangled PCIe which my Athlon64 4000+ and board didn't support at the time..

I believe my first order was back in 2001 and was a Thermaltake SK6 CPU cooler for my Thunderbird 1.4GHz CPU.

I paired it with a 40mm Delta fan and the damned thing could be heard from outside my room when I stayed in halls at Uni.
