What watch do you wear?

Nice collection! We always apreciate pics!

Christopher Ward.. Nice. Those are pieces with the old logo design aren't they? I'm still amazed at their choice of logo redesign a few years back. Did they click the drop down font selection.. ah Arial.. that'll do! I've never been so turned off from a product by a logo redesign.

The BB58 silver is actually really nice once seen through the lens that isn't Tudor's marketing department.

The price is nice, but the watch is thicker due to the display back which IMO is pointless and agree with him. This is not a movement you want to spend money on displaying as there's nothing nice to see and it's so small anyway that any fine details are invisible without a loupe so... what's the point?

Looks far better in that video. Those stock images were just awful. I agree on the display back, it's really not needed. Guessing they did that to cut down on the amount of silver required per piece. Interesting what they say about the metal mix to avoid tarnishing, will be interesting to see how well that works.

I like it and I'm not normally a fan of Tudor.

I thought this too - seemed like a copout to reduce the silver.

I really really like the watch though. Not sure I could justify two BB58s though.

Which other BB58 do you have?

I have a thing for silver, so this piece definitely resonates with me.

A bit weird, but I have a couple of display back watches and I don't like the feel of the crystal against the wrist at times.

I wanted a black diver so bought the black BB58. I didn't realise I needed a grey/silver watch in my collection as well!

Your final sentence reminds me of my other thought about them cheeping on the silver - was whether the alloy they've created will "not work" against the skin hence swapping it to crystal? I agree though - I had left the back sticker on the BB58 and it didn't feel right till I removed it.

Another day gone by and no email from FedEx saying they just picked up my watch from Germany :(

First world problems...

Yeah it'll be pretty similar, if it were me I couldn't see both of them in my collection.

The display case backs can have that same feel as a sticker on the case back, almost grippy against the skin. Especially when it's a warm day and you're perspirating.

Two nice watches there - I detest divers watches but that BB58 of @dLockers could make me change my mind!

I also love that Oceanus. Not a brand I’ve heard of before but who cares when it looks like that? The blue tint is great.

Quartz watches can get punchy, punchy. Some manufacturers take the mick (Jason & Co. anyone?), but the likes of Casio, Grand Seiko, Citizen etc. tend to actually do cool stuff with the Quartz.

Yeah there is doing cool stuff and not charging the earth. I bought a new Citizen Men's AV0021-52H Eco-Drive Titanium Calibre 2100 Watch for £95 around 10 years ago. Great watch and not ripping you off on price.

Just came back from Westfield.

I see they've down sized and moved the Omega Boutique to indoors. Appointment only right now. Window shopping at the Speedmaster. Only have the new model now which I'm not keen on. The old 1861 Speedmasters are starting to become OOS.

I wish it were 5 years ago when these were near enough half the price they are now!

It's a posh Casio I believe. Thin, titanium, sapphire crystal, etc.
Pretty much yep :) 42.3mm case and 9.5mm thick. it’s solar powered too (battery will last 18 months in power save mode), it’s time is also set by radio signal each night automatically etc. Edit - or can connect to your phone via Bluetooth and the app which syncs time and some other features, which I haven’t tried yet.
