What watch do you wear?

I was banging on about a whoop in a thread in the SA and lots of people disagree with me but that's ok. Each to their own. I love having health and exercise stats and metrics and I love to wear a proper watch. The whoop is like a fitbit without a digital display that you don't have to take off to charge or ever really. In fact the only time I have ever removed it is for scuba diving.
Anyway, thread getting derailed a little.. I'll bring it back on track with today's choice, my lesser spotted and lesser worn Speedmaster Date. Was an ebay purchase with B&P and I got it for a good price. It's up 31% on that if the Chrono 24 app is to be believed. Always wanted one but I have a black Planet Ocean (a few pages back) plus other black watches so wanted something a little different.

Loving this!

Would you believe that only now have I just got the DHL Express delivery date confirmation from Barton Straps regarding the replacement strap for the wrong buckle option they sent before inc the free strap I was offered too? I had to chase up as had heard nothing for a couple weeks again and no further shipment email even though it was an order confirmed and in the order history online.

I will wear these free straps but may well think twice about ordering another Barton strap I guess. It's just not been a great CS experience. It's been what nearly 3 months or so to get a replacement strap shipped even after promises by email that the internal issues have been addressed!

Monday is the day of delivery thankfully. Then to decide which watch will be put on what strap.... 7 straps between 4 watches... :p

On another note, I found out thanks to WUS why the hands on the Laco are luming up the dial whereas they aren't on the Stowa - Seems Laco use "frame" hands and basically apply lume to them and the lume just forms to the frame nicely. I think Stowa do the same but they have an additional treatment it seems on the hand undersides to stop the lume lighting up the dial underneath. Either that or they use flat heat blued hands as opposed to lumed.

any idea why the screw at 10pm may be off position on this one considering (afaik) they aren't real screws?

also any idea of rough new RRP of equiv model these days (I know you prob won't get one at RRP anyway)

not seen that version before, very nice

what's case diameter?
It's the Dark Side of the Moon Edition.

Case size is 44.25mm but wears so much smaller. The TAG is 44mm but looks and wears so much bigger than the Speedy.

They're bolts. The part that turns is on the back of the watch. One for each bolt. So that bolt has been out and put back incorrectly.

Can't help you with RRP. Watch prices have gone insane since I stopped paying attention. The last time I paid attention, a ceramic SS Daytona on the used market was about £17K.

That is absolutely abhorrent that someone has put an AP back together and made such a ridiculous mistake. To then photograph it for sale? Wtf.

seen that model before but colour looked a bit different on one I saw

I have worries re the APs I've been looking at as they are 42mm and smallest watch I have is 45.5
