What watch do you wear?

The links in my Steinhart Ocean bracelet were easily removed with a precision flathead screwdriver, no need for a jeweller or even a spring bar removal tool as they're threaded. :)

Bought this on Friday to replace my 30 year old Seiko that died
I rather took a shine to it, so just couldn't help myself :D

I got sick of ruining all my expensive pieces whilst drunk, sailing, working in computer racks (sharpest metal edges ever conceived?!) etc... and whilst looking through here saw a few parnis pieces, clearly homage orientated (IWC in this case) but they looked nice enough and for the money even if it turned out to be horrible I'd just bin it. Anyway, beyond surprised at this:

the 'tourbillon' action/motion is awesome, the sweeping hand has a perfectly acceptable beat, sure its not like my rolex but given the price I'm not going to knock it. The deployment mechanism is well built, the power reserve seems excellent, the only downside I've found is a slightly noisy balance wheel but given I can hand wind it too I can always remove that.

All for 70 quid, I feel like I've robbed someone :p

Probably not long, I have a track record for trashing watches, last repair on my milgauss was just shy of a grand when I got my wrist/watch caught in a yacht winch during a crash gibe, before that nearly 800 on my navitimer when I found out it wasn't remotely water proof and I'd been swimming in it daily :p, these were some of the driving factors for me buying this, my daily before this was an LG gear R, which just didn't remotely float my boat.

Parnis looks nice, and this one with retrograde and power reserve?(?) + tourbillon, not bad at all!

I wouldn't be too worried about the IWC homage label. *everyone* is copying that look anyway, Including Hamilton, and quite a few others. I know I was fishing for one of the lot before I picked the Longines.

I have two of these, both 'beaters' but the case quality of both is pretty decent and as Will says, the power reserve is excellent - easily over 48h which my Steinhart can't get near. The only obvious outward downside is the noisy pendulum, as has also been mentioned, one of the reasons I like the SH is that you can't hear it at all.
