What watch do you wear?

I had my heart set on the Omega Dark Side of the Moon but I'm having 2nd thoughts about it now.
I've tried it on twice in W.O.S. & Omega in Regent Street but I've been underwhelmed by it in the flesh, it looks beautiful online and in all the reviews I've seen but it just doesn't grab me for some reason.
I'm sure I'll find something equally as nice though :)

Funny that, I was dead set on a Speedy a few months ago, but I'm now over it somehow...

The thing is, the last two watches I bough were more 'vintage' and 'unusual' -- and I kinda prefer that look to the (a little bit fake, to be honest) Omega Marketing... Still like the big PO a lot, but I might consider flipping it in a few months.

That Accutron I bough was assembled on the same machine as the ones that did go to the moon, possibly by the same people, at the same time; that gives me quite a bit more of a buzz than a brand new moonwatch...

I'm in love with my latest purchase. I had originally wanted a Rolex Seadweller. Truth be told it was a bit of a stretch at the moment and after trying on a few they left me feeling a bit cold.

I stumbled across this beauty and can't believe how good it is in the flesh. The crystal is almost impossible to see, such is the quality of the AR and the overall build quality has blown me away. I have a Speedmaster Moonwatch already and this feels significantly more well engineered. Ok it's not got the cult classic reputation the speedy enjoys and is a completely different style of watch but I'm very very happy with this purchase.

The display back particularly attracted me to the watch and I believe the movement is held I particular high regard (8500) co axial.

Without rambling on too much, here are some pictures. It's a 42mm.

Just pulled the trigger on a new Sinn (Chronograph 103 St Sa), will be a birthday present from the wife. Will be a couple of weeks before it arrives but quite excited about it.

The Dark Side is my dream watch but the only way of getting it would be to use my Florida family holiday fund. I don't think that would go well with my partner and son :p

Just ordered a new crystal for my Tudor, this one has a small scratch and just noticed a chip in the side of it, so got a new rolex one coming. $50 wasn't too bad! They're nice and easy to fit. Will give me a good chance to polish it up a bit too.

They're a strange one. The photos look awesome but when you try it on it just leaves you feeling disappointed, at least it did for me.

I'm after a watch winder that will wind 2 watches, there's loads on the rainforest but I'm not sure how good they are. I don't want to spend loads as it will only hold my Tissot Viso and my Orient Mako. Any recommendations?

Waste of time to be honest, unless there's difficult complications that take ages to set like perpetual calendars you're better off just setting the time and date when you wear them.

I heard that having the watch stop, then winding it again can shorten it's life, is that not true? I was looking at the Pateker Ebony Wood Finish Dual Watch Winder for £89.99.
