What watch do you wear?

I really like this. Very tempted to back it, but do I just go for one at £213 (inc delivery) or two at £315 (inc delivery).

My favourite is the Blue One. Shame I have no friends who like watches and have disposable income or I would definitely buy two and split the cost.

Does look very nice. I've back it for £213. The £300 has gone I think. You'd have to go for £340 now.

I'm in for the £340. I'm happy to pick up the blue and the stealth for me but if anyone wants to share it let me know :)

Wow that's nice. I'd be interested except for the fact that you can't guarantee a Kickstarter would actually happen.

EDIT: Soooooooooo tempted. Prefer the white but would likely go blue so it's different from my current watch.

Where do people tend to go to get watch batteries changed? The battery on my Omega ran out several months ago and apart from the fact I can't wear it, do I need to be worried about a spent battery doing damage inside the watch?

I only wear it once in a blue moon, as I tend to wear my Band 2. But it's nice to have it available and working!

Any local jewellers that sells watches should be able to change a watch battery.

I had my Omega done by my local dealer to ensure the water resistance wasn't compromised. Was more expensive but at least I have paperwork to show it was done properly if and when I sell the watch.

What is the retail ?
There are loads for sale here : http://www.chrono24.co.uk/rolex/ref-116610lv.htm

wow 7k for a SS sub, I have been out of the watch loop for some time but the prices seem to have gone crazy. I assume its due to the low pound.

I'm going to start selling off my watches, I only ever use the SS Daytona's now.

4.1k sound ok for a SS Sub date from 2006?

I love the look of the Chronos, I do admit! Plus they are waterproof, so as long as you take care to make sure everything is tight it should be ok. :)

Just to be clear, it doesn't "have" to be 5k, that was just to give me extra breathing room... if I get something I am happy with for cheaper then I would be over the moon!

My shortlist at the moment, in no particular order, is:

PS: Anything gold = no way, reminds me too much of a used car salesman!

Me I would find a nice sea dweller at that price point. I have had a few omegas and I do like the brand but to me its not a brand worth 3 to 5k.

Prices of luxury watches have been going up by about 10% per year but the industry is currently suffering from a low volume of sales so hopefully the prices will hold for a while.

Yep, I paid 2600 for a used sea dweller 8 years ago so sounds about right.
