What will come of all the hacking ?

seriously any very very important information that is stored on computers are completely seperate from internet aceess. Places like the pentagon do not have setups where some hacker can work his way in it just aint happening and you know it.

But if you put a lot of hacking stories in the news and in the papers then you can bring in the internet clamp down. The internet censorship to stop all the cyber terrorist (YES U REMEMBER THE WAR ON TERROR) that they are telling you about now. Well if they didn't put it in the news now you would not accept it later on...lololololololol

Gary McKinnon? He was in there for years. And he did it by attaching a brute force dictionary to a perl script and setting it guessing box passwords. Nothing particularly high tech about that.

Gary McKinnon would disagree with you. :)

Why not is not a reason. I could say why not throw you in?

They are tools that deserve to suffer a bit, therefore it would be a 'nice' place for them to go.

However, a normal prison will have to do. Hopefully they will get a good raping :)

Why are they 'tools'?

Just had a brainstorm at work and we've got three scenarios:

They have nothing

They have an aggregated data set which is used by the ONS web front end for users to build queries which won't actually contain information that pertains to individuals

They have the entire database and it was stolen by a malicious insider for some reason (probably money).

Whereas Anonymous saying that "The good news everybody: Ryan has little to do with #LulzSec besides running IRC. All 6 members of LulzSec are fine and safe. ryan cleary simply hosted the new encyclopediadramatica website and irc, lulzsec just had a channel there, not much of a relation."
