What would you do if there was a total doomsday type apocalypse type scenario ?

As lets be honest its probably highly likely now, what with events in the M.E. and northern africa, world economies on the brink of collape, probable food shortages and loss of oil supplies/ soaring oil prices.

So say for instance there was like a zombie apocalypse after the impending global nuclear war, you have survived but are living in a wasteland desecrated by the aftermath of nuclear conflict, there are zombies everywhere and food is contaminated etc. I'd say there is like a 50% chance that we will see this in the next 5 years.

But tbh, I will just go cannibal and lock and load. Tbh I've been stock piling baked beans for about 6 months and i have at least 200 tins under my stairs. I also have 45 bottles of evian water and i add several to this every week on payday. I also have a decent collection of air weapons and i think if the SHTF I'd fair better than the average man, also I am a veteran martial artist so i'd be able to look after my self in a hand to hand combat situation.

So what is your plan and have you started making provisions for the impending apocalypse ?
 
Check all the infinite number of OCUK threads on surviving the apocalypse (generally Zombies ones), by which time the Sun would have gone Supernova and it wouldn't matter anyway.

Fact is that the vast majority of survivors would be dead about two weeks after the last McDonalds closed down.
 
I'd stockpile vast quantities of chainmail, why do people never use chainmail in zombie films?

Granted it's heavy but it'll give you extra protection when up close and personal with the walking dead.

Do you really keep beans etc?

And do you think once about 50 people find out you have food, that your going to stop them all.
 
Get as many long lasting supplies as possible and go into your attic/loft.

How the **** zombies gonna get in your loft. ;)

I have provisions to ply my windows and doors. I also have some old harris fencing that i will fit over the ply to further prevent access. besides i will probably vacate to a friends log cabin deep in the Worcestershire countryside .
 
Well it depends on the type of zombies stinka. If we got dawn/shawn of the dead zombies, they have no chance. If you have the rage ones like in 28 days/months later then yes we're probably screwed as with the ones from I Am Legend.

However if they were the strong athletic ones you would be ****ed too with your pansy fence ;)
