What would you do with £6,000?

I must admit I'm quite suprised at the number of people suggesting they'd buy material things. If there's no debt, your not struggling for money and
in a stable job, would something like a mac pro or
ipad really give you as much enjoyment in your life as a holiday/travelling to somewhere amazing?
I like my cars, tv's, clothes, speakers, cameras
etc etc. But none of them compare to say going to New York, Dubai, Snowboarding, travelling around Thailand/S.E Asia (my next plane). Those memories will never leave you, the ipad will be an old model in January and probably break in 3 years
