Yesterday rang up Vodafone as my contract was up and I was due an upgrade, anyway decided on an SE W850i.

Anyway the delivery people have just been but with two parcels for me, thought it was a bit odd but on Vodafone's website it says if you get the W850i you get a lesser phone for free so I just presumed it was the lesser phone.....

Just opened them up and....yup you guessed it I now have TWO W850i's  , so do I ring them up and explain or should I wait until my next bill and see if they charge me, if not then keep it?

I'd phone them up, crying, and tell them how terrible a sinner you are and that you'll personally hand deliver their phone back before you get sent to hell.

:D

I had the same happen with me regarding the delivery of my TomTom.

Two TomTom units arrived on the same day and I was charged for one.

The next day they called and said they had sent an extra one by mistake and asked me not to use it and a courier would be picking the surplus unit up on so-and-so date.

I had the intention of waiting to see if they said anything, if after a while nothing was said I probably would have donated it to "Will it blend"

For some reason I keep getting given two of something, couple of years back bought a digital camera from Argos, silly fools gave me two and only charged me for one....

And no I didn't say anything :P

If you didnt order it and your a ok person, ring them and tell them. If it was you and you had paid twice, youd expect them to turn round and tell you wouldnt you?

I know its only a phone, but thats not the point, ring them and tell them about it. They may tell you its ok, keep it then all is well :)

My dad once got send two fax machine by BT. When he phoned up point out the mistake then sent a third one and then sent a courier to pick up one machine.

And then when they received the one machine back they creditied his account for it (and he'd only been charged for one in the first place).

He sold one to a mate (at BTs price so he could pay the bill if he needed to) and kept the other one. That was 7 years ago and we've heard nothing.

I'd keep the extra phone, for a few months and se what happens.
