What Would you Want From the Otherside

I don"t know why so many AMD users want Physx support. It's hardly used and isn't any better then other stand alone phyics engines. As an Nvidia user the beat feature I've found on Geforce cards is the quality of service from the Nvidia only board partners.

exactly for that reason, if it's nvidia specific no one will be enjoying it, not enough games using it for nvidia users, or amd users get screwed up physx like in the last batman because devs dont have time to integrate both physx correctly, if both vendors use it, might be a chance to see it take off and get wider adoption.

For my AMD R9 290 l would like Nvidia linux drivers :) for my GTX 770 l would like AMD Mantle.

I've got a 7970 Matrix Platinum and I have to say I'd love to have PhysX on my card, I know it's not going to happen but the option to have it there would be fantastic. I absolutely love Borderlands 2, and I know the game looks better with PhysX enabled, so many more particles and debris etc.

So you really do both want something specific from the otherside;):

AMD use stronger power circuitry on reference/high end cards specifically for overclocking-fully:

Don't just take frosty's word for it, take it from the man in the know:

Was there a point to that?

I don't want it from the other side, I'd just buy a Classified.

Duh...

Nvidia User here.

The thing I want most of all is that juicy VRAM. Adds more life to the card.

Mantle is cool but I am only interested in mantle in a year or 2 when it is better and more widespread.

Nvidia user - Quite happy as I am, absolutely nothing tech wise would I like from AMD. Only thing that would be decent is their gaming bundles sometimes.

As a Nvidia user:
Functional Linux drivers (but this is a complete pip dream, people have been waiting 2 decades for!)
Decent OpenGL support
Don't make developers lives harder by creating vendor specific API (it didn't work in the 1990s [RIP 3DFX GLIDE, S3 Metal], it wont work now). Instead work to improve DX and OGl specifications.
Better developer support

was gonna say and peace in the middle east, but then i remembered that the world's biggest prison is being bombed non stop as we speak, it's fine and all that we can argue about GPUs and useless stuff, while millions of ppl lack their fundamental right, of food, shelter and security...

sure, why not, we could do with some peace in africa too. everyone shake hands like gentlemen!

I use both so only thing i'd really want is to able to mix my cards.. 2x290 in xfire with a 660 as a dedicated physx card would suit me nicely
