Always the drama queen eh malc. In Motors, we post what we think when someone posts up a car. Thats how it works, it isnt an ego massage station. Some people will love it, others will hate it, thats the nature of public discussion forums.

if its not a hot hatch, i suppose its a mild hatch. but then whats a hot hatch tbh
all i can say is that i love my car and with a few more mods it will be a nice sleeper car and will put most cars to shame.

well any starlet but theres no point cause you could just buy a supercharger kit or turbo kit for it and get more out of it.
You could fit a MR2 in it but theres no point really like i said just turbo or supercharge it would be better
dude do you know that my car is only a 1.5 and does 0-62 in less than 9 and the GTi does it in 8.2. We know that they arent Lambos but we are both still young and insurance costs a lot so for us both. and to get a car that can do 120mph + and can keep up with more powerful cars i think is quite an achievement.

Its not really a sleeper like that though. A sleeper is when you stick a big engine into a pathetic car. Like the vauxhall corsa bunch with their redtops.

Nope - I already explained how my car is probably more "individual" than a Yaris with some tat stuck to it...
no im saying money wise mate. I guy has got a 1.5 with a supercharger and hes got 140bhp and hes retuning it soon so would be good to see what he gets. A few people have turbod it and got 180bhp.
I know parkers says 103hp but mines got 105hp and that if you ever came in it you might change your mind
we are both 22 and live in high risk areas so insurance is £1k fully comp if you must know, and mods are free unless we increase BHP

my thought exactly. the rev3 mr2 turbo is 240-something bhp out of the box
i cant see a 1.0 getting close to that, unless you put a busa lump in there
id be tempted with the starlet lump.
9s to 60 isnt too sad, i recon that would be a pretty fun little car. definately warm/mild hatch etc. not a rocket
