If he'd just posted 'This is my Yaris' I'd be inclined to agree but have you read what he's been saying about it in this and other threads?

It would be like me banging on about how many 911 Turbo's I'd pwned this week and how everyone else has a crud car and then not expecting greif for it.
 
Well yeah I agree, but he's young and a little over enthusiastic, not everyone is as mature and ahead of their time as you or the rest of motors on OcUK. :)
 
He is 22 and full of testosterone of course he wants to bang on about his car its his pride and joy.

Although when I was his age I didnt change the outside appearance I just rammed 8 x 10" Subs in the back of my Nova GSI lol

As Yaris's go, it's not bad. Whatever floats yer boat. OP, IMO, don't spend too much cash on it. Save your pennies for a better base car to modify when your age/insurance costs allow.
 
Young? He's a year older than me and I drive a faster heavily modified car, and I don't bang on about how I pwn everything I see ;) I also pay about the same in insurance, but that's just me being smug………..!
 
Well i looked at other cars but believe it or not a dturbo 306 costs more to insure than my yaris even though my yaris has a high insurance group

Also i do live in the north and a so called high risk area so that why i pay loads on insurance

Upbringing and background doesnt have much to do with it - the people defending him are saying it's because he's young - I just meant I wouldn't consider 22 to be young at all.
 
well i guess that youve not been paying around the £1k mare for insurance for a while cause i have since i passed for the last 4 years.

It's young compared to others ;)

I think upbringing and background does have a lot to do with the attitude and the way you perceive yourself and the world around you and the way you behave. :)

I have no loyalty or care about the OP, but I've noticed a little mild bullying/teasing which I'm just trying to keep in check. :)
 
oh i dont drive like a nut if thats what you all think. The only time i do is if someone else is to annoy them that i can sort of keep up. Its just funny when they see a Yaris keeping up for a while and then they have to proper push their car.

I just chill out and relax when i drive and listen to music

It's relatively young, but still with potentially 5 years experience on the road, I'd hope most people would have grown out of trying to race Golf TDis on the motorway
 
well i have been drivin carefully thats why i have ncb's but my insurance is still high so i just think whats the point cause its not getting cheaper, if anything it keeps going up.

well not really but sometimes i do. like i said most of the time just chill out cause theres no need to be driving like a nutter cause at the end of the day we're all trying to get somewhere
