well it is that cause of how it works out. 1st was on my dads in for a about 6 months, then he renewed so got a 1yr exp, then last 2yrs got my own insurance and NCB, so when i renew i will have been drivin for 4yrs and 3yrs ncb is how it works out.

Basicall say i passed in Feb 2005 then got insured on my dads. Then his renewal came july 2005 so i didnt get a yrs exp till the following year. So when it came to me getting my own car i waited for my dads renewal the next year so i could get 1yrs exp for my own insurance but i had been actually driving for 18months. It was a pain tryin to sort it out with the insurance companies explaing what happened and all i got was well is actually just 1 yr exp then.

It's relatively young, but still with potentially 5 years experience on the road, I'd hope most people would have grown out of trying to race Golf TDis on the motorway

I haven't (well I didn't when I had the MX5 - I used to like to take on most things :o) and that's with over 12 years in a car and 6 on a bike!

i agree. most people i know would take on most things if the need arose.

i dont understand mondeo or espace at 24 or 28 though, unless you have no interest in motoring (or there could be a million other reasons)
