What's everyone getting their Mrs for Xmas?

No hoovers, ironing boards, electrical appliances etc - recipe for Single Town. Last years:

  • Music Box

  • Hand Wash

  • Yankee Candle

  • Advent Calendar

  • Spice Rum

  • Book set (Handmaids Tale)

  • Bath Bombs

  • Phone + case

  • Echo Dot

  • Elemis gift set

  • Perfume

  • Boots

Struggling this year for a main gift :(

I'm getting the family (wife and kids) a stand up paddle board. All our friends have them and we spent a lot of time on the beach this year. Can see next year being similar.

I see you’re in Kent. Where would you go to use this? Genuine question as I would like to take this up.

MrsHB has a big birthday in Feb and she’s asked for an Apple Watch, for Christmas she’s asked for some food Ninja contraption.

Some ridiculously expensive makeup (What's the difference between £30 eyeshadow from some boutique website and £5 from Boots?:confused: I guess the same as me trying to explain to her the difference between an RTX3090 and a GT710 :p)

Since she's currently on maternity pay, I'm probably going to have to buy my own as well... 6800xt is looking tempting ;)

Might I suggest that you invest in the £5 Boots eyeshadow, she’ll
probably explain the difference to you after she unwraps it.

Westgate bay or Walmer usually. Plenty of places all round the coast though.

Wife gave me a pair of trainers last week and told me they were the only Christmas present I'll be getting this year.

So she's getting the presents I gave her for her birthday in April, whenever I remember what they were...

I've told the nanny to get some bits from John Lewis whatever looks decent. Usually an expensive advent calendar and beauty products or a gadget.

Last few have been ghd hairdryer and hotel Chocolat velvetiser. Usually best to ask another woman.

New iPad Air has saved me the usual dilemma of what to get this year. Her birthday is in Jan so that'll be a double Xmas/birthday gift. :)

No that's not a good idea. Seperate presents.
