Whats in your bag !!!

G4AJG: Is the Mini Trekker much bigger than the Micro Trekker 200? Was looking at getting one as I can't quite get everything I want in the micro trekker I have now?

Cheers

Dave

Hope the photos help.

I hope I am not the first one to think that 'the things you normally carry' means everyday, and not just when you out shooting. And if some of you carry all this stuff everyday (Photography is your main job), then fine, but I am sure that some of you don't carry all this stuff everyday.

For me part of my week is not Photography related, so the stuff I carry everyday:

20D
17-40 F4
35 F1.4
Diary (paper kind)
Notebook (paper kind)
ST-E2
Phone and other stuff
All inside a Lowepro Omni tracker

I carry a lot all the time.

Lowpro Minitreker AW

EOS30D+BGE2 Grip
5x Batteries for 30D (If charged)
Flash 580EX with 16 Spare AA's (I have close to 30 in total) + Stofen

EF 17 - 40 L
EF 50mm F1.8
EX 105mm F2.8 Macro
EF 100 - 400 IS L
Epson P2000 40Gig with a spare Battery
4 Spare CF cards in a holder
77mm UV x2. 77mm CP. Hoya R72. Cokin P Series. ND Grads 2 + 4
Lens cloth, Lens cleaner, Sensor cleaner, Rocket blower medium.
Flash off sync cord
EP-EX
RS80N3 Remote
Sony Erricson K800i Phone
Bottle of water
Paper note book and pen.
White paper for a custom WB
Body wrist grip.
Neck strap.

Manfrotto 055PROB
Manfrotto R322

Sometimes I wont take the tripod though (That will save me sooo much weight)

Finally got round to taking a photo (albeit on my lowly K750i - sorry for the quality!)

katar103.jpg

Kata R-103 rucksack
1D MKIIN + 24-105L
17-40L (nestled in the lens hoods)
70-200L F4
100-400L
50 1.8
580EX + Stofen
Adidt remote
Rocket blower

I can highly recommend the Kata R-103 rucksack - built like a tank, but distributes the weight nicely - I've only done approx 6 mile walk with it but was comfortable over that distance.
