Whats in your burger - Post your fave combinations

You guys are all making your burgers too fat/thick.

I'm going to try these on the weekend:-

Bacon, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and chives
Blue cheese and BBQ sauce
Honey mustard, brie cheese, and Granny Smith apples

I like a traditional steak sandwich! Thin steak, bacon, cheese, caramelised onion, egg, lettuce, tomato and sliced beetroot and bbq sauce. Have to make it myself in the UK, but it's never the same as a good pub steak sanga!

Aberdeen angus beef, emmental cheese, gherkin, caramelised onion in a bun or brioche. A little tomato sauce. Perhaps a piece of tomato and lettuce. Sometimes some American mustard or mayo. Also sometimes have a fried egg in there too and sometimes a little bit of bacon.

For those that make their own, which blue cheese is good for burgers? I was thinking maybe Gorgonzola or Roquefort but not sure how well they would work.

A chicken burger with a vegetable burger , 2 Streaky rashers , Ice berg lettuce , Tomatoe , A slice of cheddar or processed cheese , onion , chopped up gherkins , Garlic Mayonaise with a little black pepper through it, salsa. = win

Or sometimes I mix ketchup with mayonnaise and add some black pepper to it and a hint of lemon juice.
And if not the Garlic mayo with black pepper or the other sauce.
You could use sour cream and mix a little white and black pepper through it and a little onion salt.
Or you could add some guacamole to compliment the salsa, guacamole is awesome with a hint of lime added to it.

If you try my recipe let me know and tell me what you think.
Because its absolutely delicious and a very satisfying and filling burger.

Tip: if you can find poppy seed covered burger buns use them, you won't regret it!
